Heart Crochet Ornament Free Pattern


Did you know that the Heart has long been used as a symbol to refer to the spiritual, emotional, moral, and in the past also intellectual core of a human being. As the heart was once widely believed to be the seat of the human soul, the word "heart" continues to be used poetically to refer to the soul, and stylized depictions of hearts are used as prevalent symbols representing love, what a perfect Holiday Present...

Heart Crochet Ornament Free Pattern.

What you will need:
Hook 3.25 mm
Berocco orange, turquoise and green yarn
Tapestry needle
Polyfill

Stitches used:
ch: chain
sl st: slip stitch
sc: single crochet
hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
sk: skip

Make 2: One in Orange and another in turquoise

Row1: Ch10, sc in second ch from hook and in 9ch (9sc), ch1 turn


Row 2-9: sc all along (9sc)ch1 turn,
 do not fasten off you have a little square.


Now you will crochet the rounded sides of your heart continuing on the next side of your square.
Row 10 : [ sk 4st( it will me the middle of the side of your square),  9tr in next st, sk 4st, sl st.] twice you will have two arches.





continue along the next side of your square,  hdc in next 7st along the border, in corner st,[hdc, dc, hdc] in same st (creating your heart's point), hdc in next 8st.

Continuing along the arches, 2hdc in each 9 coming st, hdc, sl st, hdc, 2hdc in each coming 8 st, sl st fasten off.


Sew tail ends with your tapestry needles.

Place both of the heart both wrong side facing each other, and with Green color sc all along the edges.
when 3/4 closed stuff with polyfill and finish.






For the loop sl st st center top of the heart and ch 18, sl st at th base of the ch and fasten off .
swe all ends in with your tapestry needle.


Voila you just created yourself a beautiful Heart Ornament!!! Happy Crochet.
