Field of Purples Flower Granny

This is a symptom of my yearning for spring, I feel the need to create flower Grannies, as if I was arranging beautiful Bouquets of spring wild flowers. So I am sharing this Field of Purple Pattern I just Created, hoping to bring a bit of early spring fever to your home….
You will need:
Hook 4.00mm
Tapestry Needle
Yarn: Berroco Comfort in purple, (9717), Lavender (9715) and Pink (9723)
Stitches used in this Pattern:
Ch; chain
Sc: single crochet,
sk st: skip a stitch
Hdc: half double crochet
dc: double crochet
Pattern:
Round 3: ch, [ sc, 2 hdc, 3dc, ch2, 3dc, 2hdc, sc] in each ch 7 sp from previous round Do not Fasten off
Creating a base for your granny square:
Place your flower wrong side facing you,
[sl st in any st of round 1, ch3, and sl st] 4 times
creating a square.fasten off
[sl st in any st of round 1, ch3, and sl st] 4 times
creating a square.fasten off
Round 1:
Placing the flower right side facing you,
and with Purple Color, first round of your granny square
[3dc any of the 3ch space, ch, 3dc] repeat 3 more times, join with first dc
and with Purple Color, first round of your granny square
[3dc any of the 3ch space, ch, 3dc] repeat 3 more times, join with first dc
Round 2: ch1,
3dc in same sp,
[3dc, ch, 3dc in next ch space from previous round,
3dc in between the next sp between the next two 3dc from previous round] 3 more times, join with first dc
3dc in same sp,
[3dc, ch, 3dc in next ch space from previous round,
3dc in between the next sp between the next two 3dc from previous round] 3 more times, join with first dc
Round 3: ch1,
3dc in same sp, 3dc in next st, 3dc, ch, 3dc in next ch space from previous round, ([3dc in next sp ] twice, 3dc, ch, 3dc in next ch space from previous round,) 3 more times
3dc in same sp, 3dc in next st, 3dc, ch, 3dc in next ch space from previous round, ([3dc in next sp ] twice, 3dc, ch, 3dc in next ch space from previous round,) 3 more times
