Here is a Fun Summer Beach Dress that I created with different stitches, giving the design a free flowing feel, accentuated by the fringes at the bottom as well. The Blush color is divine with a tan.

Blush Beach Dress Free Tutorial

 Difficulty: Intermediate

You will need:
Berroco Comfort Dk in 2704 Peach (it is called Peach, but really it is the most beautiful blush color ....ooooh I love it!!!!! with a Tan it is just gorgeous!!!)
Crochet hook in 3.25mm
Scissors
Tapestry Needle

Stitches used in this pattern:


ch: chain
sc: single crochet
dc: double crochet
sk st: skip a stitch


Pattern:


This is for a size Small,
For the Top See Abigail's Beach Dress Bikini Top  But crochet 22 sc on each
 side of the ch and ch 80 for the strap.





When round 2: [sk 3st, 4dc in next st, ] all around, sk 3 st.











Round 3: sc all around


Round 4: [ch5, sk3, sc, ch3, sc] all around









Round 5: [ch5, sc in ch5 from previous round] all around








Round 6: [2sc in ch5 from previous round, ch3] all around










Round 7: [sc in 2 sc from previous round, and 3sc in ch3 from previous round] all around










Round 8-19: [repeat round 4 to 7] 3 times

Round 20: [3dc, ch3, sk 3 st] all aound







Round 21: [ch3, 3dc in ch3 from previous round] all around




Round 22: [Repeat Round 21 and 22 ] 4  times..
Round 31: [( 3dc in next st, sk 2 ch) 6 times, ch13 , sk 5 ch ] all around









Round 32: [(3dc in between 3dc from previous round,) 5 times, then ch6, sc in ch13 from previous round, ch6] Repeat all around











Round 33: [(3dc in between 3dc from previous round,) 4 times, then ch6, 3sc, ch6] all around














Round 34: [(3dc in between 3dc from previous round,) 3 times, then ch6, 5sc, ch6] all around








Round 35:[(3dc in between 3dc from previous round,) 2 times, then ch6, 7sc, ch6] all around




Round 36: [(3dc in between 3dc from previous round,) 1 times, then ch6, 9sc, ch6] all around







Round 37: [3dc in ch before the 3dc from previous round, 3dc in ch after the 3dc from previous round, ch6, sk first sc from previous round, 7sc, ch6] repeat all around









Round 38: [3dc in ch before the 3dc from previous round, 3dc in between the 3dc from previous round, 3dc in ch after the 3dc from previous round, ch6, sk first sc from previous round, 5sc, ch6] repeat all around 




Round 39: [3dc in ch before the 3dc from previous round, (3dc in between the 3dc from previous round) twice, 3dc in ch after the 3dc from previous round, ch6, sk first sc from previous round, 3sc, ch6] repeat all around 






Round 40: [3dc in ch before the 3dc from previous round, (3dc in between the 3dc from previous round) 3 times, 3dc in ch after the 3dc from previous round, ch6, sk first sc from previous round, sc, ch6] repeat all around

Round 41: [3dc in first sc of ch6 from previous round, then 3dc in last ch from previous round, (3dc in between the 3dc from previous round) 4 times] Repeat all around




Round 42:*[ch5, sk2 st, sc]*
ch5, repeat from * to * all around



Round 43: *ch3, sc in ch5 from previous round


In ch5 from previous round




 4 dc, ch3, sc in ch5 sp from previous round] * repeat from * to * all around



Round 44: *ch5.
sc ch after 4dc from previous round,
 ch5
sc in ch before 4dc from precious round *
repeat from * to * all around



















Round 45- 52:[ repeat round 43-44 ] 4 times

Fasten off
Fringes:
Take about 16 inches long pieces of yarn fold in half, take your crochet hook
Pass it through the loop created by the ch5 from your last round


Grab the yarn over and through
And voila
Repeat all around, I placed two fringes in each ch5 spaces

Straps:

sl st counting 2 stitches left from center top middle of your top, sc, ch80


in second ch from hook
sc

sc all along
sc in ch sp , sc in sc, sl st in next st fasten off


Repeat on other side and you are done!!!!!!!!!!

  7. hello i tried making this but having a little trouble, i made the top using the link above. am i supposed to just make the cups only or continue with the pattern? and you wrote sc 22 on each side of the ch...what ch?? please help..thank you
